| ZAK leathers is a small independent company, formed in 1994, on the basis of
several years’ personal experience in the motorcycle leathers trade. The feeling was
that improvements could be made on the products available by increased levels of
protection and a wider choice of design in comparison to what was available to the
customer. Most importantly, ZAK leathers could achieve it at a competitive price. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength. As riders, we constantly mix and ride with others, so ZAK leathers gets constant feedback of problems and design faults with riders leathers. Problems such as comfort, levels of protection, style and quality are frequently brought to our attention. We are constantly trying to find ways to improve our own garments and integrate those improvements into our suits immediately. Every customer is personally dealt with. From their initial enquiry, through construction to final collection. At ZAK leathers, personal contact with you, the customer, ensures that you get the correct garment designed and fitted to your style of riding. All garments are fully guaranteed. Any repairs and alterations on the garments are given top priority. Should you have any problems or queries, we are only a phone call away. ZAK leathers offers a wide range of top quality leather clothing, made to measure, from a simple one color item to a personalized suit made to your specific design. The purpose of a suit is to protect against soft tissue abrasion and cuts to the skin. The primary function is to stop grazes and keep road dirt out of any wounds (gravel rash!). A suit will not prevent a broken bone or stop crushing injuries, but gravel rash, cuts and abrasions can cause more long-term injuries than a broken bone. Through Satra Safety Product Center, ZAK leathers have achieved CE approval for the leather garments and impact absorbers. These conform to the European Commissions Personal Protective Equipment PPE Directive 89/686/EEC. |
